Proto Artisan Bakery Food Allergy Policy
At Proto Artisan Bakery, we are committed to providing high-quality products to our customers. However, due to the nature of our small production space, we want to be transparent about the risks related to food allergies.
Allergen Information:

Shared Production Space: All our products are made in the same kitchen area. As a result, we cannot guarantee that our baked goods are free from allergens due to a high risk of cross-contamination, even if the product itself does not contain the allergen as an ingredient.

Common Allergens Used in Our Bakery: The following allergens are regularly used in our bakery:
- Gluten (wheat, rye, barley)
- Dairy (milk, butter, cheese)
- Eggs
- Nuts (including almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, and peanuts)
- Sesame seeds
- Mustard
- Sulphur dioxide and sulphites (commonly found in dried fruits and some preservatives)
- Seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, etc.)
- Soy
- Other allergens (may vary seasonally or based on specialty items)

Cross-Contamination Risk: Although we make every effort to clean our equipment and surfaces thoroughly, cross-contamination can occur as all products are prepared, baked, and packaged in the same space. This includes shared use of utensils, ovens, and storage areas.
Recommendations for Allergy-Sensitive Customers:
- If you have a severe food allergy, we strongly advise against consuming any of our products due to the high risk of cross-contact with allergens, including sesame seeds, mustard, and sulphur dioxide/sulphites.
- For any specific inquiries about ingredients or processes, please speak with our staff, who will be happy to provide detailed information about our products.
